The Capital District Scottish Games is a one-day Celtic festival featuring pipe bands, highland dancing, athletics, clans, Celtic music, dog exhibitions, and children’s activities. This annual event takes place at the Altamont Fairgrounds, located at 129 Grand Street, Altamont, NY. The festival includes a variety of competitions and performances, starting with solo piping and drumming contests in the morning, followed by highland athletics and a parade.
