Scots in New England Congratulates Mark Bamforth on OBE Appointment

Scots in New England is delighted to congratulate Mark Bamforth, Scots in New England’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award winner, on his appointment as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in King Charles III’s 2026 New Year’s Honors List.

Mark has been recognized for his outstanding services to UK Life Sciences and UK/USA business relations. As Executive Chairman of Kincell Bio and General Partner of Kineticos AMR Accelerator Fund, Mark exemplifies the transatlantic collaboration and innovation that our organization celebrates.

An important member of the Scots in New England family, Mark’s exceptional contributions to strengthening the scientific and commercial ties between the United Kingdom and the United States reflect the very mission at the heart of our work.
