A Season of Strings

A Season of Strings features a diverse lineup of artists celebrating the versatility of string instruments across various genres. The event will showcase Boston’s Copley Street performing Irish traditional music, followed by baroque violinist Edwin Huizinga and guitarist William Coulter with selections from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. The second half includes Canada’s award-winning quartet The Fretless, joined by vocalist Madeleine Rogers, blending folk traditions with an indie-inspired sound. Artistic Director Maeve Gilchrist will weave harp, poetry, and storytelling throughout the performance. The event takes place at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, located at 37 Main Street, Rockport, MA.
