The Saltire Foundation USA: Giving Tuesday
The Saltire Foundation USA wants to thank all our friends for their continued support of our program. From hosts to donors, advocates to alumni, everyone plays a vital role in the success of our flagship Internship program each year.
We are delighted that in 2024 our program supported over 1200 students from Scottish Universities and placed 195 Interns globally. Our lifetime support now stands at just under 2000 interns placed since our inception with over 730 students undertaking life changing work experience here in the US.
As we plan for the 2025 program, this ‘Giving Tuesday’ we are asking our friends to support us and help build on the success we have had since 2007.
Financial Support
As a registered charity here in the US, our program relies heavily on the generosity of our supporters. We always look to strike the right balance of value to our hosts, resulting in the Foundation subsidizing the cost of each paid internship.
Our challenge, against the backdrop of rising costs, is to ensure we always provide the exceptional product we’ve become known for. Philanthropic support, that is tax deductible, helps to protect our Internship program and ensures we can continue to make a lasting impact on the young, talented people studying in Scotland.
