The Tour: Historic Shipyard & Blacksmith Shop
- Time: 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM (Assembly at 2:00 PM)
- Details: Step back in time at the Percy & Small Shipyard, America’s only surviving shipyard site where large wooden sailing vessels were built—including the six-master Wyoming, the largest wooden vessel built in the country. Our private, docent-led outdoor tour will take in the four buildings of the shipyard, its wharves, building slips, and the historic Blacksmith shop.
The Boat Cruise: Merrymeeting Bay
- Time: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Boarding begins at 3:00 PM)
- Details: Experience the Kennebec River from Bath to Fort Richmond and see the home of our Ulster-Scots ancestors from the water. We’ll hear about these hardy souls and what they found upon arrival in the 1718–1722 time period.
